  • dialogue with colleagues from across disciplines;
  • engage in informed and constructive conversations related to the complexities of teaching and learning; and
  • share strategies and insights that increase teaching and learning effectiveness.

In this active learning workshop, you will participate in a group work activity in Zoom Breakout Rooms using a Flipped Classroom approach. Mel and Sarah will model how to set up virtual group work, including how to arrange students into groups, how to prepare instructions for Zoom Breakout Rooms, and how to use collaborative documents from which students can work from simultaneously. After participating as a “student” in this session, we will host a debrief discussion to reflect on ways to apply these concepts in our own classrooms.
