Kate Quinn and Dr. Leah Macfadyen meet virtually for a conversation on Learning Analytics (LA) in Practice. As a leading scholar-practitioner of Learning Analytics, Dr. Leah Macfadyen will draw from her extensive knowledge and experience to explain LA as a tool to inform course design and its relation to Academic Integrity. Dr. Macfadyen will also touch on the common challenges in implementing LA and the surprising insights that LA have offered. This session has been pre-recorded (due to time zone differences) and comes fresh off the heels of the Learning Analytics and Knowledge (LAK) 2021 conference, an international conference organized by the Society for Learning Analytics Research (SoLAR).
