  • share strategies and insights that increase teaching and learning effectiveness.

Mike Manny was born in Toronto, Ontario, and has been immersed in the world of music since the tender age of 4. A scholarship graduate of the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in New York City, Warrant Officer Manny joined his first band in the Canadian Forces in 2002 and has since performed extensively with the Forces worldwide. In addition to his day gig as keyboardist for the Royal Canadian Air Force Band, and beyond being a first-call jazz pianist in his adopted cities of Winnipeg and Ottawa, Mike is an avid amateur radio operator, an accomplished marksman, and an experienced pilot. He's also the composer and performer of Georgian College's very own Time for Teaching podcast theme.
